Rush is playing some sound bites that are quite interesting. Like many of you I heard Hillary say the following over the weekend.
But lets look at what she said on March 7th, 2003 (before the Iraq War started) while she was talking to members of Code Pink:
Hmmm, so over the weekend she says Bush tricked her and misused her vote but in 2003 she told a crowd of anti-war loonies that she has been involved in this situation for over 10 years, does a lot of homework and believes there is no one to blame for all this except Saddam Hussein. She even says she voted for the resolution after careful deliberation over the intelligence and talking to people whom she trusted.
But now Bush tricked her. She didn’t think it was for pre-emptive war.
Rush then played this other segment from the same discussion with Code Pink:
You get that? We may have to go it alone. If the world doesn’t agree with you then forget diplomacy. Go in and get it done since we are the only ones who can get the job done.
But last October she said this on her website:
This Administration’s choices were false choices. Internationalism versus unilateralism. Realism versus idealism. Is there really any argument that America must remain a preeminent leader for peace and freedom, and yet we must be more willing to work in concert with other nations and international institutions to reach common goals?
So which is it?
Saddam was evil and needed to be dealt with, alone if we have to, or should we have negotiated with Saddam and the rest of the world for another 13 years?
She’s a winner huh?
