Very few American's protesting the Iraq war. The majority of far-left elected officials are protesting the Iraq war. That is differnce. The elected officials are attempting to force their far-left view down the throats of the Americans. Citizens expressed dissatisfaction with the war in the election -- far-left leaders falsely believe that they voted to retreat-in-defeat from Iraq. They voted for a CHANGE OF COURSE. Now there is a change of course, and Democratic leader falsely call it an "escalation." I read the plan, posted the highlights -- it is NOT escalation. SO what is the plan? It is the LONG AWAITED HANDOFF! Yes, the NEW Iraqi Government and it's NEW military take the lead, and in their first major offensive the extra troops are to block for them as they carry this handoff to success. This plan needs to be cheered. This is the beginning of the victory. But, you see, this isn’t Vietnam:
