Is America This Stupid?

Wordsmith was pissed at the LA Times today, but I was pissed at those liberals across the country who celebrated a known tyrant.

He sat foot on our soil and called our President the Devil yesterday:

President Hugo Chávez of Venezuela bitterly and sarcastically assailed President Bush before the United Nations General Assembly today, portraying Mr. Bush as “the devil” who thinks he is “the owner of the world.”

“Yesterday, the devil came here,” Mr. Chávez said, alluding to Mr. Bush’s appearance before the General Assembly on Tuesday. “Right here. Right here. And it smells of sulfur still today, this table that I am now standing in front of.”

Then Mr. Chávez made the sign of the cross, brought his hands together as if in prayer and glanced toward the ceiling.

The moment may not become as famous as Nikita Khrushchev’s finger-wagging, shoe-thumping outbursts in the General Assembly in the cold-war era, but it still produced chuckles and some applause in the assembly hall.

And then proceeds to call our President a sick man today:

Venezuela’s President Hugo Chavez launched a new personal attack on President George W. Bush, using a visit to a church to call the US leader an “alcoholic” and a “sick man.”

A day after Chavez used the UN bully pulpit to call Bush “the devil” a “tyrant” who acts like he owns the world — prompting broad condemnation in the United States — Chavez was equally vitriolic as he spoke at the Olivet Baptist church in the New York neighborhood of Harlem.

“Bush is an alcoholic, a sick man with a lot of hang-ups,” declared the left-wing Venezuelan leader. “He walks like John Wayne.”

Bush “doesn’t know anything about politics, he got there because of Daddy,” said Chavez, referring to Bush’s father, George Bush, US president from 1989 to 1993.

“The United States should choose a president with whom you can talk and work,” said Chavez.

While he hit all the DummiesU and DNC talking points he got a standing ovation from Americans in Harlem:

After a UN speech in which he called US President Bush “Satan,” Venezuela’s President Hugo Chavez got a standing ovation with another anti-Bush speech at a New York college.

The South American leader spoke at Cooper Union last night before a packed audience including professors and union organizers.

Chavez proclaimed himself “a friend” of the people of the United States, but said he hopes next time, they’ll choose, in his words, an “intelligent president.”

He got the standing ovation for comments accusing Bush of committing genocide in Iraq.

Chavez compared the Bush administration’s actions to those of the Nazis and said the U-S president should be brought before an international tribunal.

And this is something we should be proud of? A dictator coming to our country and mocking our ELECTED leader. You know, the guy who was freely elected to lead our country?

This is the difference between flaming liberals and the rest of us. If Saddam had come to our soil and did what Chavez did to Clinton I would be just as pissed off. No one comes to our country and mocks our leader.

Personally I would like to smack every freakin person who cheered for this dictator.

Come on all you jackass Che Chevara t-shirt wearing dumbnuts….come defend this jackass:

Including the liar Mr. Harkin:

Iowa Senator Tom Harkin, a democrat, today defended Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez’s United Nations speech in which Chavez called President George Bush the devil. Harkin said the comments were “incendiary”, then went on to say, “Let me put it this way, I can understand the frustration, ah, and the anger of certain people around the world because of George Bush’s policies.” Harkin continued what has been frequent criticism of the president’s foreign policy.

Harkin says Bush came to office saying he wanted a new humility in foreign policy in reaching out to other countries, but Harkin says Bush’s actual policy has been heavy handed. Harkin says the anger against Bush is generated from the Iraq war, which Harkin says was “unnecessary.”

Harkin says, “We tend to forget that a few days after 9-1-1 thousands, thousands of Iranians marched in a candlelight procession in Teheran in support of the United States. Every Muslim country was basically on our side. Just think, in five years, President Bush has squandered all that.” Harkin says the U.S. has put billions of dollars into the Iraq war, when it could be helping poor countries with things like clean water, medical aid and education.

Your liberal baloney is just that…baloney. We have been the worlds welfare ticket for decades and what has it brought us? Nothing but thousands dead and wasted money. The time for taking care of people who don’t want our help is over. Lets take the Palestinians as an example. They elect a terrorist to govern them and then cry when we tell them we will stop supporting your Government.

Sigh….

It’s obvious we are in an election cycle when the likes of Pelosi and Rangel defend the President:

One of President George W. Bush’s fiercest political opponents at home took his side on Thursday, calling Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez a “thug” for his remark that Bush is like the devil.

“Hugo Chavez fancies himself a modern day Simon Bolivar but all he is an everyday thug,” House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi said at a news conference, referring to Chavez’ comments in a U.N. General Assembly speech on Wednesday.

“Hugo Chavez abused the privilege that he had, speaking at the United Nations,” said Pelosi, a frequent Bush critic. “He demeaned himself and he demeaned Venezuela.”

And you wonder why I visit that cesspool of idiocy DummiesU. We need to know how twisted these people have become. We need to spread the word that there are dangerous idiots amongst us, like these people who gave Chavez a standing ovation.

Meanwhile we get our schools inviting Chavez’ partner in crime to come speak:

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been invited to speak at Columbia this Friday, University officials confirmed Wednesday night.

Ahmadinejad, who has been criticized for promoting Islamic fundamentalist rule in Iran, is in New York for the United Nations General Assembly meeting.

What this really all comes down to is the fact that Bin Laden predicted all of this. He believed that after 9/11 we would not have the balls to take the fight to the enemy. The greatest generation was dead and buried. The new generation are full of cowards and pot smoking liberals, so who would expect us to come after the terrorists? He and the rest of his crime partners didn’t count on George W. Bush.

But 5 years after the fact Osama’s prophecies are coming true. The pot smoking liberals are doing everything in their power, including inviting dictators and Hitler wannabe’s to come speak at our childrens schools, to make sure we lose this war.

Chavez and Ahmadinejad have said nothing different then what the Democrats have said over and over. They have stolen the DNC talking points and Pelosi/Rangel have the gall to be upset about it. It’s an obvious media ploy, but one which our MSM will eat up….The Anchoress notices much the same thing:

Bush is a “sick man with a lot of hangups?” That sounds like almost anyone at Air America, or on any lefty blog who pretends to sophistication by suggesting – like real bigots – that President Bush is an “uptight Christian,” simply because his moral values are not theirs.

Bush “walks like John Wayne?” Crap, the press has been caricaturing President Bush as a “cowboy” since before he was elected.

All Chavez is doing is repeating exactly the idiotic crap that the left has been spewing for 6 years. And the Democrats have who have encouraged the hate.

Either way, all the Chavez’s and Ahmadinejad’s, Rangel’s and Pelosi’s in the world will not fool the American people. The Democrats will not regain power…..mark my words.

America is just not that stupid.

Oh, one last thing….

Some articles are appearing in newspapers and online attempting to downplay or de-validate the Boycott, oftentimes taking unsubstantiated stabs at the legitimacy of the cause. Although such authors have a right to their opinions, every article of such subject this author has seen lacks evidence and subjectivity in their content. I therefore find it difficult to view such writings as anything other than snippets of propaganda originating from some special interest party-line sources.

The other oil companies buy their gas from Arab countries which use them to fund terrorism. The companies buy them indirectly from Iran, Saudi Arabia, and even Libya through distributors. Even officially, 4% of Libya’s oil goes to to the US. 3% of US oil comes from Colombia, the most bloody violator of human rights in Latin America. Saudi Arabia gives its profits to the “royal family” (eg Bin Laden).

This is far worse than a democratically elected Venezuelan president who conflicts with the Bush administration over globalization. His joke that Bush is the devil is pretty benign considering that some Americans actually question whether Bush is the Anti-Christ.

Personally, I just find it to be humor.

The area I live in Pennsylvania has the highest unemployment in the state. All the jobs are going to Mexico and Latin America because people are getting paid 1 an hour for a job that would pay a US worker 20$ an hour.

The first time I heard Venezuela criticized on the news, it was CNN saying Chavez spoke at an “anti-American” rally in Argentina. Then she cut over to a reporter actually at the protest. He said, no, the protest is not anti-American. They like the American people. This is an anti-globalization protest, and the people are protesting the system that gives them horrible working conditions. Van Sustren, the CNN moderator replied, “Anti-globalist, Anti-American, whatever,” totally ignoring the fact that the reporter said they were not anti-American!

The corporations who move to Venezuela don’t like it now that the government is regulating them to make them pay decent wages. And if Latin American countries paid people decent wages, Mexicans would not be pouring across the border, and jobs would not be pouring out of America.

If Chavez has a conflict with Bush and the corporate news about globaliztion, that’s fine- our country would be better off without globalization.

Why wasn’t Hugo and the Iranian Prez simply taken by the collar and belt and given the bums rush the hell outta my country. You just try doing something this ignorant in their countries and you’d either have your head seperated from your body, or just plain be “disappeared”. Better yet, plant a bomb on thier aircrafts as they leave, and send them off to feed the fishes. Ohh that’s right, we are a civilized nation that follows the letter-of-the-law as proscribed by the ACLU, Amnesty Intl., and world opinion. I for one, am sick and tired of having our tax dollars going to the to the Un-UN, and dying the death of a thousand bites by ungrateful, parasitic pissants!!
