I wish every American could read this. Perhaps then they would see that it is nothing the Americans have done to 'bring this on themselves' but it's just they way Muslims and other Middle Eastern religions are. And I think the way women are mistreated there is HORRIBLE! I wouldn't last a day under their rule. My mouth and my stubborness would get me killed. Yes, we're arrogant, yes, we're stubborn but BY GOD we have fought for and deserve our liberty. I am PROUD to be an AMERICAN.

Wordsmith, you have lived up to your moniker. This is really informative and a great piece. If nothing else, those who read this should come to understand that appeasement is of absolutely no value when dealing with Islam's House of War. I believe it was Churchill (Winston, not Ward), that related appeasement to hoping the lion would eat you last. Personally, I prefer putting a bullet between the lion's eyes and not worry about being eaten; but that's just me…

Wordsmith, You have done a great job one this. Bravo-Zulu.

<a href="http://rumorofwar.blogspot.com/2006/07/islamic-militants-caliphate-state.html" rel="nofollow">Islamic Militants: Caliphate State </a>

The Christian Science Monitor has summed up the Iraqi conflict with its article 'Report: Al Qaeda using Iraq as terrorist training ground British lawmakers say Al Qaeda also sees Iraq as propaganda tool':

Christian Science Monitor reported that Al Qaeda has "changed its modus operandi," and is using Iraq as a training ground for future terrorists and as a propaganda tool in its war against the West. The source of the report comes from a British parliamentary committee report found in Daily Telegraph. In the Daily Telegraph, the parliamentary committee predicts another "brutal attack" on Britain, similar to the one that occurred in London a year ago this week, because of the war on terror. Source: <a href="http://www.csmonitor.com/2006/0703/dailyUpdate.html?s=mesdu" rel="nofollow">'Report: Al Qaeda using Iraq as terrorist training ground...', By Tom Regan, CSMONITOR</a>

Islamic extremists appear to be poised to seize political power across the Middle East in the wake of a U.S. Democrat sponsored "Cut and Run" withdrawal from Iraq if the likes of Kerry / Feingold / Murtha / Pelosi / Dean / Leftist have their way. In August 2005, General Richard Meyers, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff, said in a pentagon briefing:

"The stakes are huge," said Myers. "If the "Zarqawis" of the world, if (al Qaeda) were allowed to be successful in Iraq, in their view, that would be the start of the caliphate that they envision. The stakes would be huge for the region. You talk about instability. It would be instant instability in that region, in Saudi Arabia on down the Gulf states, perhaps Iran, Syria, and Turkey."

With those words, Myers unambiguously identified America's strategic imperative for the post invasion conflict in Iraq -- preventing the birth of a fundamentalist Islamic empire spanning the entire Middle East -- al Qaeda's Caliphate. Source: American-Made: <a href="http://intelwire.egoplex.com/caliphate-10-20-2005.pdf" rel="nofollow">Al Qaeda's New Caliphate</a>

The liberal democrats in the United States fail to realize the consequences of their folly; "Cut and Run."

Be ever vigilant in the coming years. This islamofacism problem it going to get worst before it gets better.

Respectfully,
Bosun
